π First DTV Visa Approval from Pakistan ππ΅π°
(I think)
Linking my previous post below.
Just wanted to come on here and update y'all that my visa was approved after submitting MOFA-apostilled local bank statements plus Wise-signtured and stamped statements.
Sepcial thanks to the kind soul who told me there's an option in Wise to get stamped statements.
I was absolutely unsure I would get this result.
Also thanks to the Thai Immigration Officer there who was very helpful with my questions and genuinely wanted me to succeed. And gave me a chance to provide the docs they were looking for.
Here's my timeline:
Applied for visa: Feb 6th 2025
Asked for interview: Mar 12th
Asked for further documents: Mar 12th
Docs uploaded: Mar 19th
Visa approved: Mar 26th

no I wasnβt sure if they would accept one statement or the other so I balanced out the two to have over 500k in each. I sent from my own accounts so the last minute balancing was not an issue for them.

No ticket and no hotel booking needed. They do ask you in your form the flight number which is like TG434 etc whatever and hotel address which is where I intended to stay.
But they donβt ask you for the actual booking. And it makes sense because before the visa you cannot confirm your flight anyway.
Yeah I understand what you mean about passport. What I was saying was the immigration officer told me not a single DTV visa has been issued to someone resident in Pakistan yet. (From the Islamabad embassy)
No, It was approved in a day from Thai embassy Canberra, Australia

You double checked that they gave you a DTV? Some embassies are notorious for giving you a different visa than what you applied for, so always good to check.
