So I was having a couple of issues in regards to identity and the requested document order time. They requested a birth certificate and it was going to take up to 4 weeks for me to get one.
I sent in a word file explaining my situation under the requested birth certificate and asked if they can extend my application process an extra few weeks and instead they have told me to come in for an interview.
If I go for the interview and I don’t have this, is it going to be an issue? Surely they wouldn’t request an interview without some other option of proof of identity?
So I just got asked for my birth cert. I've uploaded passport, bank statements, drivers licenses... All the typical stuff and they're now asking for a birth cert, however, I don't have one and it can take weeks to get on in my country...
Can i go to the thai imigration here and figure out another way for proof of ID? How can I talk to someone that deals with the documents to at least give me an extension on the "Incomplete applications over 14 days will be automatically removed from the system."?
I'm a little lost at the moment, and don't want to stay in laos much longer, haha!
My daughter is born in Thailand 4 months ago (My husband and I are non-Thai). She currently has no passport only has birth certificate issued by Thai government.
If I want to take a domestic flight, can I only present my daughter’s birth certificate?
Hello, hope everyone is well🤗 First of, my apologies if the same question has been asked before.
I will give birth in Phuket very soon and as far as I can understand (CMIIW) with a Thai birth certificate my child can stay here without a visa until he's 15? (again CMIIW pls). my question would be if there's any guardian or medical visa that I can get to stay longer because I’m now on exempt entry visa from border bounce and I believe I could make extension for another 30 days but it would be best for me to stay with my newborn at all times so I’m looking for a longer stay permit.
PS: me and my partner are both foreigners and not married yet so I cannot piggyback on his work visa😅
Does anyone know how we are suppposed to get official documents like birth certificates and marriage certificates from the US notarized. The US embassy in Chiang Mai and in Bangkok doesn’t do it anymore, yet it’s still required for family members following on my work visa?
Hello, I'm currently on an education visa, (sponsoring my children) and the uni has asked for a certificate of family relations to extend the visa. We are British and when I called the embassy they said its not a document they offer here in Thailand. Has anyone had a similar issue at all and how did you get it resolved? Thankyou in advance.
