1. Since when do anyone need to apply for a tourist visa? You get 60 days on your ticket and can extend 30 days.

2. Since when do anyone need an invitation letter for a tourist visa or proof of funds?

I have never been asked of any of these things and I’ve been coming and going since 2009

In 15 years I never been asked about TM30 until 2 months ago when someone wanted to create a problem for me to make money pretending to help me fix it (classic) 😁

They translate and legalise the marriage certificate for you 1500b-3500b depending on how much to translate. Then you go to the local authorities where you live and register the marriage for free.

the agency chargé you $900 to take care of it all, even front the funds in a Thai bank account they open in your name. Easy peasy for someone that is lazy or don’t understand the process. Just saying it can be done

I know many kids that came with their parents a decade ago and when they turned 18 and didn’t get valid visa they were sent to IDC and then deported
