Thanks for your responses so far. I understand it would have be conducted under a company and will need to employ at least 4 locals. I am on a retirement visa so I understand that I will have to switch visa if accepted. I am Australian and the product range is industrial equipment. I wasn't sure about the direct selling so thanks for heads up. The idea of this post was to gauge opinions in case someone in this group has actually done something similar and I could pick their brains. Of course I will get proper legal and government advice before I do anything, I have done some homework already but nothing beats talking to people with experience and guidance. Thanks again.

So it was expensive from the start? It's worth the trip to Pattaya and getting it completed a lot cheaper and have a couple of nights holiday thrown in.

Been tagged also. If it was Facebooks fault then I would be tagged in everything. Seems like blatant advertising to me trying to sell a product that just jumped from 35k to 55k. Quite the coincidence..

Replies so far are what I was suspecting, I didn't think there was a way to navigate out of it but it was worth asking. I'll have to do whatever I can to get back in time to renew it.

You will need software and you will need a way to securely transfer physical cash in and out of the booth. It's also a regulated business so somehow you will need to be approved by the right government agency

Again , depends on the IO. I know 1 FIFO worker that had to apply for an educational visa because the IO said no more
