Please clarify something about the '6 month METV'.

Does 6 month mean it is valid for 6 months from the issuance of the visa?

Or does it mean it is valid for 6 months form the time of entry into Thailand?

And finally does it mean I can stay in the country for 6 months or can I only stay for 60 days at a time and then either need to extend or leave?

I've had one or two "unfortunate" border crossings (not in Thailand) and there is just this lingering effect every time I cross a border.

I know it's a bit strange.

I just thought about it because of the times when someone gets stamped in wrong

I will pay more attention next time.

I'm usually a bit nervous when I enter and aren't they also taking the photo?

does the IO have one stamper and then changes the date for each specific Visa?

Or does he/she have several different stampers?

And of course the dates are changed every day
