No point in getting upset and pointing out the stupidity of the fact that you have your marriage certificate, marriage registration document and your wife sat next to you. Obviously it is a genuine marriage. That gets you absolutely nowhere.
we were married 26 years ago our information was in the system but that information was limited. At first our immigration office were unhappy to accept the certificate. When we pointed out that we were married before the records were computerised they accepted it and all was fine.
