TLDR : Answer Summary
This post discusses the experiences of individuals extending their STV and TR visas in Thailand. One user mentions successfully extending their TR visa by making an appointment, filling out an application, and providing necessary documents, while another outlines the requirements for extending an STV, including ASQ paperwork, insurance coverage, and proof of residence.

To apply for a 90 day extension on an STV you will need to show your ASQ paperwork, your insurance coverage, your TM30 receipt / lease, etc where you're staying, and booking on where you WILL be staying (if its different from where you are now)

that does sort if make sense. Where you are staying, because they want to know where we all are, hence the 90 day reporting for visitors on long term extensions. That you have insurance to cover the extension they are giving out because the STV require the COVID insurance and the 40,

,000 out/in patent cover. ASQ paperwork for...... a very good reason.

We are all being encouraged to install the tracing app. Is there any more than encouragment for someone visiting on the STV?

Why would you need your ASQ paperwork? You've already been in the country for 3 months.

I stopped looking for logic a LONG time ago and this was ripped right from a post by someone on a STV who went to MTT and got his extension. That's what they asked him for. Hate the message, don't hate the messenger..

It’ll depend with immigration office you visit from my understanding

I extended my tr visa with ease. Made an appt online. Showed up with the extension form filled out. One passport photo and photocopy of my passport info page, visa page, stamp page and 1900b. Got stamped for another 30 days.
