The advice here is almost unifornly to go early. There is no loss of days by going early on a covid 60 day extension if that is your concern. I went on Friday 22nd and Iwent early previously with no loss of days.
you mean they can only give you stamps i got at airports when you leave thailand? They can't do this at immi offices? If that's true then i was just lucky and won a little victory. Ha
I always take my two passports anyway, no big deal. And i like looking at the stamps and visas. I have 12 chinese visas in my old passport

The actual visa is never copied this is what i got at Don Mueang airport immi. I had no need of an embassy letter or stamp, i just showed him the old and new passports. I have successfully used it a few times such as renewing a drivers license
