I had to give an address for when I finished ASQ. The man at the counter beside me before immigration argued with the officer that he didn’t know where he would be staying yet. Eventually the officer lost patience and told him to go make a hotel booking online and join the back of the queue.

, sorry I misread your post, I thought it was the applicant, not the money. I have been told the deposit of cash in your account can be made by a third party and only for a short period, for a fee....
