HELP!!! My flights just been cancelled from Manchester to Bangkok cos no flights to Dubai now?! If I get new flights will I have to apply for new C.O.E? I think I know the answer but I got a lot to sort out before Monday 🥴

You can contact the embassy and tell them about the flight cancellation. Usually you can just modify the dates of your flight as soon as you get the new flight confirmed. If there is no definite new flight date then, yes you may have to apply for a new COE but best is you register your concern with the embassy who issued your COE because they might have a time frame to let you to hold on to this COE until you can confirm a new date to travel. Anyhow, I'm not going to get into details. But take it from me, it is I very necessary trip. I intend to change visas and stay long term. Zoom just wont cut this I'm afraid. Only real human contact and love

Whilst I fully understand the emotional pull, you might be better off - and certainly financially better off - transferring money and monitoring with Zoom. ASQ/COE/Neg Tests/Flights/Travel will leave a deep hole...

Like I said, I'm flying for compassionate reasons. My family are stuck out in Ko lanta, suffering with ill health and no income for 10 months with small children. I'm flying out to provide support and financial help to my family

 I've sent them new flight and updated ASQ details this morning. Not sure when I'll get a new COE. I'll keep you posted. Not sure of their opening hours?

 call the embassy and say your flights have changed, I think they need to unlock the COE unless they have changed the system.

 correct and we will. However my response was a general answer to a question. Rather than say a couple of weeks, I suggested a few weeks. And there is no set time frame for a few weeks. But, I wouldn’t say a few weeks would be infinite. I’m a glass half full person and prefer optimism to pessimism

You can change the COE online. Qatar has a great relationship with Thailand. I use them and feel they are the best. The6 come in through Doha. Best if luck.
