One month plus first month up front if they rent out 4 condos or more (I think it's 4 or more). But small number landlords can ask for 2 months deposit and 1 month upfront

I did that last time, that’s how I won the argument last time when they claimed they didn’t receive it in time (well kind of won the argument, they never admitted it but never fined me either)
