visas Legal less than $500/year for 2 of them

school for less than $5,000-7,000 ( till the child is 12 or so)

If ur child is in a legit school, one of you can get a dependent visa but the other???

the other would need go to a school for an ED visa ( apx $1,000/year)

$4,000/month is plenty to live here, I live on alot less for 2 ( but no kid)

to be an instructor:

You need to be at least 18 years of age

Certified up to Divemaster (Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, Emergency First Responder, and Divemaster Course)

Have at least 100 logged dives

Have around $3000 to cover the cost of the course and the requisite materials

You must pass the Instructor Examination

PLUS ur living expenses for a year or so

NO bar ( well may be on some of the small islands, where they will pay u with beer and a cot) ) would hire a farang to work behind the bar< even owners with wp's are not allowed to do that

u need a NON O, B visa to get a 5 year license on ur renewal>

if you ONLY want leave and return on a free 30 day visa exempt entry head to Ranong and enter Burma>

IF you want leave and come back on a 60 day tourist visa head to Penang, KL, Singapore Or Phnom Penh Cambodia ( R/T apx $200)

getting a visa entails a few days stay
