Expats in Thailand are usually a little snappy when it comes to others coming in, many are grifters or want to rig the system. Sooo many say they “live” in Thailand, but they are just tourists.

The DTV looks like it’ll open that door for some to temporarily work and live here properly. For now.

I understand some people in government are not happy at how open the DTV visa is. So there’s bound to be changes at some point

Don’t rig the system. Too many people doing it and government is cracking down.

If you want to live in Thailand, get a proper visa.
