TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around whether an 'OnlyFans' account can be considered as qualifying for the new DTV visa in Thailand. Participants point out that creating pornographic content is illegal in Thailand, which could lead to visa rejection due to violating criminal, immigration, and labor laws. Some suggest that if the account were framed under a different business guise, such as a media consultancy, it could potentially work, but overall, the legality of OnlyFans and similar activities in Thailand raises significant concerns.

Why not wrap it in a "media consultancy" company earning X profits?

Not only is creating porn a criminal offense in Thailand, this would also be illegal local labor laws because creating/producing content locally for commercial purposes requires a work permit. So you’d be violating criminal laws, immigration laws, and labor laws. Way to hit the trifecta.
It would probably work if you've registered a company for the purposes of doing onlyfans and can show income and write a letter stating you can do it anywhere.
But the only problem is that porn and production of porn is illegal in Thailand, so they might reject it simply on that basis.

Chris Nadon Well look at it from Thai government prospective. Why wouldn't they let people stay 180 days if they spend money while their there and do NOT take local employments opportunities? It's actually pretty smart from their end. Making money from the visas AND the income from people staying in Thailnd! Win win. As long as they got enough condos to accommodate everyone 😂
