TLDR : Answer Summary
The community is seeking clarification on various aspects of the DTV. Key questions include the process and fees for extending the stay beyond the initial 180 days, whether rental property and military retirement income qualify, how couples should apply for the visa, and the necessity of in-person applications versus online procedures. Additionally, there are inquiries related to tax situations after 180 days and the requirements for extensions within Thailand.
is rental property income accepted? is military income (retired) accepted? also if a couple is applying, does 1 apply and the spouse applies as a spouse or as the same way as partner 1 with all the financial stuff etc? do you need to do any of this stuff in person at a consulate or embassy, or is it all online?
Technical issue - please enable multiple documents upload - yes u can create it all in one file but for the not so tech savvy it’s unnecessary difficult.
