Yes, got the same requests. The hotel doesn't want to take a bunch of reservations that could be cancelled because the guys haven't got all the documents to enter Thailand.

 Just ironical. Several people complain because they need to be vaxed to be allowed to travel, claiming about their freedom. Does anybody worry about the pets freedom?
