What do you mean "doesn't seem to accept pdf"? It's clearly written that they accept only image files (jpg jpeg png). This is a fact, not something that "seems".

Will one night of accommodation suffice for entry into Thailand without a complete itinerary?

No definite duration of stay doesn't exist for the authorities unless you hold a residence permit, in which case 1 month insurance is enough.

 Almost no country wrote the passport number in the vaccine certificate because

1. You get vaccinated to avoid catching a disease, not to travel

2. Not everyone has a passport.

 I had error in API and I just added 1 space after passport number, nothing else, and it worked.

You can't avoid sandbox if you were in the Dominican republic. The country is not on the list for the 1 night program.
