It’s a brand new site and thousands are trying to use it.

Make sure you are uploading JPEG’s rather than PDFs

I was told to forward photos doc's to a friend on what's app, ask them to return them.

They are returned at a reduced size, it worked for me uploading for my visa.

Phone/tablet or computer? If you have photo editing programs then they’d almost certainly do it for you. Otherwise search online for a service. I’m sure there are some out there that will do that sort of stuff for free (they get money from ad revenue).
