well, if you ensure that an extension that shouldn't happen in normal circumstances unless it's preceded by the 30-day one will happen while not being preceded by the 30-day one, you are effectively bypassing it. :-)
wow, congratulations! To be fair, I’m pretty happy just staying for 5-6 months or so, so I’ll do 2 now (30+30 because I couldn’t apply for a proper visa with no Thai embassy where I was living) and get 3 more months after I come back.
There’s always the student visa if I want to add a full year later.
my understanding was that even if a Covid extension is available to me, I cannot apply for it unless I served one 30-day extension first. And the post is about whether a regular extension can actually be of 60 days, at the officer's discretion.
I was put on hold in a chat with Air Asia to get a flight rebooked because they cancelled the other. I was no. 184 in the queue when I started holding, lol. Two hours later, my turn comes, I expose the issue, don’t get a reply and the chat times out. Somehow I managed to do it manually on their site, though.
