I am not quite sure that I can apply for the DTV visa, would an agent like to reach out? Yes, I know what the requirements are. Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is uncertain about applying for the DTV visa despite knowing the requirements and is seeking assistance. Commenters suggest verifying eligibility through the Thai consulate website, confirming they meet all specified requirements, and recommend joining a Facebook group for targeted advice about the DTV visa application process. The main financial requirement highlighted is having the equivalent of 500,000 baht in a personal bank account.

As long as you have the equivalent of bt500,000 in your personal bank account there are numerous ways you can meet the requirements, but having that money is the main requirement.

Thanks,

. I’ve been freelancing for many years, but I don’t actually have a work contract, and a page of work samples would be odd for my line of work, so I wonder how far I actually meet the visa requirements.

seriously look at the soft power options instead of the remote work requirements.

I suggest this, as currently there are no regulations in place governing soft power rules, and if you have the DTV based on soft power, you are grandfathered in for the next five years to any changes that will be put in place, meaning nothing will affect your DTV for the next five years. Currently there aren't even any rules you must attend classes, and that will change in the future as abuses are addressed. Get it now.

it’s worth considering, but I am an actual digital nomad so it would make sense to apply under that category. I also wouldn’t have to worry about those missing regulations coming into play and then be refused entry because I’m not compliant and abusing the system.

currently there is no difference between the two for the next five years.

to know if the DTV is suitable for your equirement or not why not refer to the thai consulate website in your home country? Its all self explanatory

If you know what the requirements are, do you fulfil them?
