Not really "Thailand" Visa advice, but travel advice if leaving Thailand via VietnamAirlines. I bought my ticket via Agoda and they sent me a message a couple days after purchase stating that the flight had changed and instructed me to go to the VietnamAirlines website. Well, first of all, the booking ID does not work that Agoda issued when I bought the ticket from Agoda to search for it in the VietnameAirlines website, however the ticket ID that Agoda displayed in the summary did work... well kinda. The flight information would not display, just the luggage confirmation. So, I started calling VietnamAirlines at their support phone number. 2 for English, 2 for speaking w/agent and 2 for regular customer. I tried perhaps 6-8 times over 4 days at different times and each time after "trying" to connect me would disconnect me stating all agents were busy. Tonight, I had a thought, one of the choices on the phone system was premium or first class tickets. ... ah... I will try that! First time, I got an Agent to talk to that confirmed my flight arrival time had changes by 5 minutes. Sheesh.. a lot of trouble and fuss over nothing. I am in Northern Thailand, so had alreadyjumped through hoops to get back an extra day to BKK.... alll for naught. Ah well. Lesson learned. Sorry, this dragged on a bit, however I hope it helps someone else in the future.
