I’m not sure it’s strange …. And I’ve used that method for decades when I needed cash quickly .. like for paying a new supplier or one who had no bank account

I used to be able to do with a debit card at Bkk bank in C Mai …. Earlier this year they refused even after talking to the manager with whom I had previously arranged …. And was advised only credit card possible now … change of bank policy

…. Do your own thing Angelo …. Don’t drive me mad …. You’ll find lots of Thai tax rates far higher than those in the UK for instance …. And as such even with double tax treaty will still be subject to tax ..
