I'm doing my implant at BKK Hospital Pattaya now. They extracted and did graft and CT scan for 20k. Plus many choices for implants. Price includes crown afterwards. Some clinics only offer 1 or 2 manufacturers as they have established 'better' affiliations. I made my choice because they are universally used across the globe in case I ever need a crown replaced.
It's a multi step process with months in between procedures, if you need a graft. Very professional.
you are every year obliged to pay that agent a fee agsin. Try moving to a new city...you need a new agent to FAKE the amounts in your bank account again. It's not legal.
We lived 13 years on Singapore on Employment pass. 2 years ago retired and tried to get 90 day O Visa while still there, but the Thai embassy said only isduef to Citizens and PR.
that's what we were told too. You need a work permit for duty free on used items. Different taxes on different goods with electrical/electronic being very high. All our stuff was used too. We left everything in storage instead. A friend was taxed on every little thing so I had been warned.
I'm in the process. Extraction plus graft, 6 stitches. Wait 4 months, then implant screw. Wait 4 months then crown. Bangkok hospital Pattaya dental clinic. Implant and crown ranges 48k to 75k baht. Extraction and graft and CT scan cost 21k baht.
Important to decide which brand you want and how prevalent this brand is in other countries (if you live or move elsewhere). Some extractions require grafts, some might need a sinus lift. Are the bones viable? Do you need a second graft?
I can recommend German Dental for fillings which I did today (replacing a bad filling done in Hua Hin earlier this year).
German dental did a full panorama xray to check all my teeth at no extra charge, after my cleaning yesterday. They will give you a comprehensive price estimate for implants and bridges too. Free of charge!
Whereas I was charged 1400b for a dentist to look at my teeth at Bangkok Hospital and give me a quotation.
we've been traveling around Thailand for 2 years using primarily Agoda and sometimes trips.com which has a much more transparent bonus system. Agoda's VIP status is a joke. And the click to "claim a 10% discount in the next hour" popup always makes the price higher! Agoda certsinly gets the award for weird stuff, but their prices are still usually the best.
So we have made about 500 hotel bookings in 2 years. I always check the walk-in rate (when we arruve) to compare. Only 2 or 3 times was it cheaper...and like 10 baht. Generally we pay 20-30% less than the walk-in rate. (A few times, we decided to stay a month, then the rates dropped to half.)
I don't understand how these booking apps get such low prices?🤔
yes, that's true. Recently they added a new requirement. You are charged a fee if your cashback is under $10usd. But you can select it to go into your bank account for no additional fee, if under $10.
