I asked this before and (like many things) depends on your IO. I am in Pattaya. I went to the Jomtien office before I left and asked this question. I told them I am coming right back to that same condo. They said “you must do every time.”

My wife enters America on her US and Thailand on her Thai and has had zero issues.

Is it safe to accept bank transfers for large item sales on Facebook Marketplace in Thailand?

I did this. I was selling a few things. Dude sent me (transferred to BKK bank) the cash and sent a grab driver to pick up the item. Worked perfectly.
