hey! small visa question. I have a non-o visa (as the spouse of a foreign teacher with a work visa)
I am not in thailand at the moment as I have to stay in my home country for some time.
my non-o ends on june 30th (end of this month)
I do not wish to extend or receive a new one, but I do remember that it is a requirement to go and cancel your visa before and get a receipt for it.
Anyone knows how do I get it done when I'm out of the country?
Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the process of canceling their Non-O visa while residing outside Thailand, as their visa expires soon. Responses indicate that cancellation is not required for a Non-O visa, as it automatically becomes void upon expiration. However, if the visa was part of a stay extension, it should be canceled in person prior to leaving Thailand. It's clarified that cancellation is not possible from abroad and that an explanation may be required if any issues arise in the future.

If you have a visa, as in a sticker in your passport (or an evisa) then there is no need to (nor can you) cancel it.
If you were on an extension of stay then you should cancel it prior to leaving to avoid any issues in the future.
You can’t cancel it from outside Thailand, so if you have issues down the line just explain to them that you didn’t cancel because you believed you would be returning before it expired but you couldn’t.
