Not yet. Arriving late July. The original post was to clarify if METV re-entry could be by land, or if it had to be via airport. This post was to ask how the 30-day extension with the METV works (bc I'd read contradicting info about whether you can only get one 30-day extension during your METV or not). Appreciate all the info shared by this group 🙏

Keep hoping to find someone who does... but yeah nobody seems to know. Im flying in on July 30, leaving Dec 20... Would like to do STV visa for initial 90 days plus one 90 day extension, but seems nobody knows whether they'll be granting STV extensions in August or September. They were so clear about how it would work last year (no STV extensions after July 3) but there is no clarity whatsoever about that this year😬

if your passport isnt actually expiring and you just need extra pages, you can probably just ask to get an extra book of pages put in your passport. i did this at the us embassy in bangkok many years ago, it was a pretty easy process.

any idea if you can still get an STV extension up until Sep 30 2022? Or are they cutting off STV extensions on July 3 2022 like they said they would last year when STV was supposed to end Sep 2021.

Don-Laura Traub i've got Cinga Global and am applying for the STV visa. How did you get them to complete the Foreign Insurance Certificate... did you have to contact anyone specific? Did that insurance work for getting the STV extension also, i hear to get the extension they require insurance from a Thai insurance company.

where does it say that those entering Thailand with STV from 3 July 2022 onwards will not be granted the STV extension? I know this was clearly stated in 2021 when it was going to expire Sept 2021, but have found nothing stating how it will work this year. Been looking for clarification about this everywhere!
