RT-PCR is a test method that's used for diagnosing all sorts of pathogens, including the virus that causes COVID-19.

SARS-COV-2 is the virus that causes COVID-19.

So that is saying the test method used and the virus it's testing for. I cant see any reason why that wouldn't be accepted.

just because Qantas offers a flight for booking doesn't mean they'll fly it. They've been notorious for that since the start of COVID, until they start reliably flying routes I wouldn't be flying on them.

When people have been blocked from seeing family or partners for almost 2 years, a few booked out planes is going to be normal early on as people with a connection to Thailand travel. However, like I said, there are too many hurdles still for tourists.

just because Qantas are selling tickets doesn't mean they will actually fly. If not enough book they'll just start cancelling flights.

If it wasn't for my partner being in Thailand, I wouldn't be travelling there now. The PCR tests and quarantine add a lot of cost and if you test positive in Thailand you are stuffed.

I don't reckon Qantas will restart all flights then, there are too many restrictions and hoops to jump through. Normal tourists aren't going to bother going to Thailand until testing and quarantine requirements are relaxed.

I couldn't normally care less who I come into contact with back in my home country, but when I need to do a PCR test before leaving, another PCR when I arrive in Thailand and then another PCR test before I depart Thailand, yeah I do care who I come into contact with right up until I get that final pre-departure PCR test.

Not sure about you, but I don't particularly fancy spending my holiday locked up in a Thai hospital at my expense. That's what will going off reports so far happen if I test positive in Thailand or was sitting on the plane or shuttle next to someone that tests positive.

So Benedict is right to be wanting a private transfer.
