The link to request a letter is embedded a few layers down in the U.S. Embassy website under Entry/Exit requirements, but it is there. Here's a direct link. You should get a response back same day.
Thanks! Was there any specific documents you needed aside from embassy letter? I thought only long-stayers needed residency papers and lease agreements, etc.?
Congrats @Steve Lok! On your application, what did you write down as your reason for extension request? Were you asked any questions or just paid and had your photo taken?
I'm not aware of anyone receiving a stamp dated 26-Oct yet. The few reports I have seen were of the "Under Consideration" type, which required them to return later this month or in one case mid-October.
