TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion reflects concerns about tourism in Thailand amid the pandemic, specifically regarding the treatment of foreign visitors and the process of visa extensions. Several comments highlight confusion over new regulations, the potential fees for extensions, and the sentiment that tourists who can support themselves should be welcomed. There are also remarks about the volume of information and misleading headlines related to the topic.

You would think that any foreign visitors would be welcome for as long as they want and can support themselves without burden on Thailand as it's all Thailand has at this time.

My god no tourist are coming in. As long as they have money to support themselves what is the big deal... It's not liking my country where foreigners get freebies.
