Not really a topic ppl just blow up things.....you need ro stay in thailand for more den 180days per financial year to become tax resident all those years noting it only started 1st Jan 2024 for those who already have 800k in bank don't worry about it you they already withheld tax when paying interest to u...only income brought in are taxable and if your country already have a (no double tax) agreement with thailand u practically can skip rope.....and for those who are still uncertain visit a tax revenue office สำนักงานสรรพากร near u to get a Tax ID and file your income......I already got myself a Tax ID and spoken to the staff and because my country have that agreement (no double tax) they told me I'm good to go....Cheers and good luck
Apply for 90days nonO in the thai embassy in your home country using home funds equivalent to 800k ....and after u travel to thailand with that visa to open thai acct
It's been a std practice to home visit married couples to confirm their relationship that's why u get a 30days consideration stamp and after they are happy with the visit they will stamp u your 1yr extension.....for retirement visa they already stamp u for 1yr extension on the same day as u apply there's no need for home visit
In order to convert your visa exempt to a 90days nonO...must have more den 15days on your current stamp 800k/400k baht (retirement/marriage) in thai bank acct if u still not have a bank acct try diffeent route Or ask agent for help
You need to prove you have 800k baht or equivalent in order to apply for 90days nonO since u don't have a thai acct u can't do it in thailand (unless agent help you) if you do it in other countries does the thai embassy in that particular country accept your prove of funds?
go to a tax revenue office สำนักงานสรรพากร near you with your passport to get TIN simple process it's a card that have 13digits with your particulars and address on it
