Heads up.

Just went to the Nonthaburi immigration office to get the paper work list for O A extension.

All normal EXCEPT they insist the bank letter MUST be issued the day you apply. That sucks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
At the Nonthaburi immigration office, it is required that the bank letter for the O A extension must be issued on the same day as the application. This has led to some frustration among expats, as past experiences suggest that other offices may accept letters issued up to seven days prior if the bank book is updated on the application day. Some users note varying experiences about this requirement, indicating that it may be office-specific.

It would be easier to open the banking app on your phone. But that’s too easy
Alan *****
Good luck with that, the waiting time in my bank is a couple of hours if I’m lucky
Roger ********
Always has been. Bank 0830. Immigration 0900. Worked well for a decade or more.

It’s the same for all of us

CW is 7 days

This seems to be office specific. Some allow the bank letter to be up to 7 days prior - but the bank book update to be that day.

That’s the way Bangkok’s Division 1 office did for me.

yep. My new favourite thing to tell people is. Don't even try to understand it. Just roll with the punches. And randomness. Haha.

Would be better if they were pragmatic and accepted the day before
