Does the first 90-day reporting after re-entering Thailand need to be done in person or can it be done online?

I have done my 90d reporting in person successfully. Then I re entered Thailand and got new stamp. Does the next 90d reporting have to be in person again or can it be done online now? I was told the first one has to be in person, but wasn't clarified if it's the first after each entry or the first ever and then all others can be online.

TLDR : Answer Summary
After successfully completing the initial 90-day reporting in person, the requirement for subsequent reports depends on whether you are re-entering Thailand anew. Officially, it is required to report in person the first time after each new entry. However, there have been instances where individuals managed to complete their 90-day reporting online. It is advised to attempt online reporting within the allowed window (15 days before the due date), and if unsuccessful, you can still report in person.

The official rule is that you must go in person for the first time on every entry into Thailand.

That being said, there are a few reports of people being successful when trying online report. Because the window to do your report starts at 15 days before your due date, there's no reason you shouldn't at least try to file online. Then if it's rejected, you still have time to go in person.
