Good evening all, Im going to Thailand for 90 days next year. I've been on the website to extend the 60 days to 90 but having real issues! My question is this, what is the process to get the extension once there, where do you go, what do I need to take and what is the cost. Thanks in anticipation, staying in Jomtiem.

Just renewed my passport to a new one. My retirement visa (Non-IMM O) also need to be extended next month.

Can I do these two tasks at the same time

1. transfer visa to new passport, and

2. extend visa in the new passport

Or I have to do it in two trips to immigration office.

Thanks to advise and share your experience

I am currently holding a retirement visa in Thailand, valid until March next year. However, when I traveled outside of Thailand last month, I did not obtain a re-entry permit before leaving. (Yes I totally forgot) Upon my return at airport, I was granted a 60-day tourist visa instead.

At the airport, the immigration officer informed me that I could resolve this matter at the immigration office. A week after my return, I visited the immigration office in Bangkok to resolve this. There, the officer explained that my retirement visa could be validated, but my landlord would need to update my residential status in the system.

When I contacted my landlord, she informed me that this update can only be made within 24 hours of my arrival. Since more than 24 hours had passed, she is unable to update it now, as entering false information would be an offense. Without this update in the system, immigration is unable to proceed further.

Therefore, I am kindly seeking your guidance on what I should do next. Does this mean that once my 60-day tourist visa expires, I will need to leave Thailand? Or is there a way to reapply or convert to a new retirement visa within Thailand without having to leave the country? And what if I stay over and let's say I travel in December and apply for re-entry b4 I go, will I get away with it.

Thank you very much for your time, understanding, and assistance with this matter.

Hey, my 90-day mark on my DTV visa is coming up, so I need to do my 90-day report. I heard the first one has to be in person. Can I send a visa agent to handle it for me? Also, I need a certificate of residency to convert my international driver’s license. Any recommendations for reliable agents in Bangkok? Thanks!

Part 2 of the marriage visa nightmare.

So. Drove back down to Korat immigration for another shot at the marriage visa. Had all the same paperwork from last time still stamped and everything. Fixed the ONE misplaced signature from last time. And BAM

NOW for some reason there's a signature that is wrong on our house contract. THE SAME HOUSE CONTRACT FROM LAST VISIT. THAT STILL HAS THE LAST IOs STAMP AND SIGNATURE ON IT.

Our landlord happens to be out of town and cannot expedite her information signature and ID card. So yay.

Have to come back FOR THE THIRD TIME. I am beyond angry at this point. The amount of time and money I have wasted on this is absolutely insane.

I am at a loss for words at this point. How is it paperwork last time that was correct signed and stamped now incorrect.

Sorry end of rant.
