Looking for some advice in relation to visas. We're traveling on Sunday and staying for 58 day (yes I know left it very last minute).

We're planning on traveling around and only have the first 8 days of accommodation booked, yet on the visa form it's flagging that there's 50 days missing accommodation.

What's everyone done in this instance?

Thanks in advance

Answer summary
The community member is seeking urgent advice regarding their travel plans to Thailand, specifically related to a 58-day stay without sufficient accommodation booked for the entire duration, which is causing issues with their visa application. Several comments suggest considering entering Thailand under a visa exemption for 30 days, then applying for a 30-day extension at an immigration office. Some advice includes confirming with the airline about boarding policies in relation to visa requirements, and potentially booking a temporary exit from Thailand to ease the airline's concerns.

Visa exempt and 30 day extension in immigration office, waste of a day! And your airline might not let you board without a visa

Does That mean I cannot apply for six months tourist visa entry within this year? do I need to count 365 days from my first entry this year to rely?

Freddy Oo actually unlimited, however once you have reached 180 days of touristic stays in Thailand within a 1-year period, you can expect to be denied entry

Book a coach or train out of the country within your first 30 days so the airline lets you board on your 30 day visa free entry then cancel it and apply for an extension to 60 days instead, once you’re in the country.

many airlines only accept real flight tickets as proof of onward travel, so he needs to ask his airline first if they accept bus or train tickets

Have you applied for a visa? If so when?

5 days is extremely unrealistic.

So speak to your airline and see if they'll let you travel visa exempt with a return in 58 days. If they won't buy a ticket out of Thailand within the 30 days you'll get stamped in for visa exempt, even though you won't use it. You'll need to go to the immigration office that serves where you will stay before the 30 days expires and apply for a 30 day extension of stay

Very doubtful you will get a visa. Check with airline if they will let you board if your exit is over 30 days, if they will go depending on passport and get 30 days plus 30 days extension. If Airlines say no book a cheap exit from Thailand for 29th day and then cancel it or throw it away and do the 30 day extension.

You’ll be luck to get granted a visa in time. Probably better off entering on a 30 day exemption (if your nationality qualifies) then applying for a 30 day extension at immigration.
