What are the best practices for successfully entering Thailand on a DTV visa?

I’ve had a soft power DTV for 15 months and entered again today for the 6th time. I have been through CNX 5 times and DMK once. It’s always the same - hand passport and A5 laminated DTV to the IO and proceed without any questions.
My advice to everyone is to look smart. I always wear long trousers/jeans, button down shirt and smile politely. I firmly believe that how you present yourself will influence your ease of entry.
My wife has a dependent DTV and also has the same amount of seamless entries.
So many BS stories on here and some where I’m sure people turning up at immigration in shorts and wife beater. Expect to be questioned if you do that.
