Hello All , I have a question, I’m still little bit confused,

So I have Non O-A Visa with multiple entry stamps will be expired in end of October, I renewed my insurance what is good 2026 October, I’m planning to fly out for few days and Coming back in this Month.

1, I will receive other one more year stamp till to my insurance is valid (2026 October)?

2, when I coming back can I ask for other multiple entry stamps (if I pay extra)?

3,(if I can’t receive Multiple entry stamp)

Can I ask re- entry permit before fly out , (let say in January ) and when coming back my one year visa still valid?

Thank you any advice 🙏

Sorry for too many questions. I’m totally lost.🤔

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the expiration of their Non O-A visa and renewal options based on their insurance validity. They are confused about receiving a one-year extension upon re-entry, the possibility of obtaining multiple entry stamps while departing, and the option for a re-entry permit if needed. Responses confirm that the user will receive a new one-year stamp upon re-entering, valid until their insurance expires, and that multiple re-entry permits can be purchased upon return. However, regulations at different airports may vary.

You’ll be stamped in for as long as your insurance is good for when you return you can go to immigration and buy a multi re entry 3800 baht or buy at the airport when leaving

So you have the non-OA visa, that was issued by the embassy in October 2024, right?

If that's the case then yes, you can leave and return an unlimited number of times until the expiration date on your visa (NOT the stamp you received when you entered Thailand).

Each time you enter while the visa is valid, you will be stamped in for 1 year, or until the end of your insurance, whichever is sooner.

When you return, it will likely be too soon for you to ask for a re-entry permit. That's because you will still have a valid multiple-entry visa when you return, since that's what you using to enter. You need to wait until the visa expires, and then you can get a re-entry permit. If you want to wait until you fly out (January for your example), you can get it at the airport at that time.

Do note, since you haven't mentioned your location, that Phuket Airport is known for only selling single re-entry permits sometimes. But if Bangkok you should have no issue requesting a multiple re-entry.

Single entry = 1000 baht, multiple re-entry = 3800 baht. 200 baht surcharge at airport for photo and filling out the form.

So unless you are planning to leave and return 4 times, it doesn't make a lot of sense for multiple, but it's your choice.
