So I have now got my retirement visa and a multiple entry stamp valid until Jan 26, 2026. I went back to the UK Dec 28 (before my 1st 90 day reporting was due) and I asked the Thai lady at the bio passport check did I need to get the passport stamped instead of using the bio system to show I was leaving. She said no it is now all recorded electronically. My question is if left before my 1st 90 days was completed and I'm due back in Feb 28 does the clock start ticking again from that date for next 90 days... correct or not? and if so and I intend to visit UK before the 90 day limit each time do I need to report to immigration at all, also if I go for a holiday to a neighbouring country and use the biometric passport check at the boarder each time will I be ok🤷
I am getting a Non O one year retirement visa, but my passport is nearly full. Once I get the visa, I will be down to one last empty page. So I will need to get a new passport, before leaving Thailand, otherwise I won’t be able to come back in, without obtaining a new passport, outside of Thailand, first.
I know that with a bit of effort, you can get the visa transferred to a new passport. But can I get the multiple entry stamp transferred as well, without too much extra hassle? Or would it be better to just get the visa, transfer it to a new passport, then obtain a new multiplie entry stamp.
Thanks, as always, to this great forum and it’s contributors 🙏
I am currently visiting my home country Germany. I have a Non-O visa based on retirement and a multiple entry stamp in my passport. The visa will expire in March 2023.
In my passport I have only very few empty pages left and I ought to apply for a new passport soon.
My question now is: Will the Thai immigration accept my visa and re-entry permit in a devalued passport if I get a new one here? Or should I apply for a new passport via the German embassy when I'm back in Thailand?
Hello - currently on a single entry non immi O visa 90 days. What is the procedure to get multiple entry stamping as I am flying to Indonesia next week and want to avoid early morning rush in Don muang airport. TIA
