I was just told by the Nonthaburi immigration office that they will no longer provide a letter of residency to travelers here on tourist visas even though i have had a condo here for 2 years . Drivers license renewal. I have a DTV and a 2 year Thai license which will expire in a few months. I've read that some DTV holders have had success in receiving a 5 year license when they go to renew. Does anyone have experience? I'm in Chiang Mai if that matters

Has anyone in this group on the DTV been able to renew their 2 year driving licence to a 5 year licence at the Phuket transport office?

I have seen people say they were able to do it at some other transport offices but I haven't seen anyone say it about Phuket yet. I will go to the office and ask but first I thought I would just check if anyone in this group has done it. Thanks Gump 🐒

/entry stamps? Do I need a house contract? ( just did in Pattaya for my dad, and those where the only required)

I travel every 3 weeks, so don’t have 90 day report

Driver license renewal. Has to be done the same office where you got your license? Mine was phuket but my Thai friend says to go to phang nga because line is smaller.

My Thai driver license is coming up for renewal. Do I have to do it in the city it got issued? Moved from Phuket to Chiang Mai. Can I just go to the Chiang Mai office?

Some 30+ yrs ago I got my Thai drivers license. Would I be able to simply update it or would I have to go through the whole process again to make it current. Appreciated
