Hi guys, question. My husband and I live in Thailand and are planning to apply for DTV in Hanoi as a remote worker or business owner. Heres the kicker...he owns a business in Canada that manufactures the liquid for electronic cigarettes....which are illegal in Thailand. Is this going to cause issues or do they they not care what type of business you own outside of Thailand?

I'm trying to keep this group as much visa and expat (bank, car buying, yellow books ext) as possible, but I can't not share this.

Dunno if this'll pass muster with the admins cuz it's more of a comment than a question but here goes anyhow. This long article perfectly illustrates why Immigration laws can become so incredibly convoluted. Even though it's written by a lawyer, my head's still spinning from trying to decipher it.
