Hi, I saw that we can now make appointments to do our visa renewals at Cheangwattana. I need to renew my non immigrant 'O' spouse visa. In people's experience is the whole job done in the hour slot allotted?

I hope someone can help/advice

I been living in Thailand for 15 yearsworking for a company with a workpermit

in 2020 I open my own company and left Thailand to get a business visa then the covid started and I couldnt get back in and stayed here in Europe to wait

Now its open up and want to do the steps to get the visa but I am not registrate here in Europe (I have a dutch passpoort and staying in spain now)

I read in many post that they require you have to proof your citizenship of the country where you applied

I really want to apply it in Belgium as there I be taken off back to Thailand

In the past there was no problem, you could even go to the neighbore country like Singapore or Malaysia to do you visa

Does any one know what can be done

or shall I go with a Tourist visa to Thailand for later to go out again and apply the visa in Singapore

Thank you

Hi apologies if this was posted already, I searched and couldn't find this specific question - basically wondering about the timing for when to make your 60 day COVID extension application. My 30 day tourist extension runs out on Nov 27, I've heard that they start the date of the COVID extension when you get it (ie not after the first 45 / 60 days runs out as with the tourist extension)? So in terms of how many days left when do people approximately apply for the COVID extension? Thanks

Yesterday I went to Korat immigration office to file TM30. We were told that we need to get a letter from the village health volunteer acknowledging that they're aware that I'm staying in the area. Does anyone know anything about this and what I need to do? I'm assuming this is a new thing due to the covid situation.

90 days non O marriage visa report.

Go to muang thong thani immigration

I went jamjuree square, chaengwattana immigration and lastly they told me to go Muang thong Thani. Due to COVID season apparently.

This might change in the future. You can do it online but I saw some guy got arrested today for losing his shit. He reported it online but something must have gone wrong. Don’t know the full story.

And I got 2000 baht fine because I missed one report. My story is that last year’s visa ended on 2nd September so I have to renew mine. So I thought I didn’t have to report because The visa ended. I was assuming it will restart from new visa but no you have to report no matter what. If you’re in Thailand or get out of the country every 90 days. come back and will restart again. I hope it all makes sense! And I hope this saves someone’s time. I wasted all day.

I didn’t need any photo copies. They’ll just give you a form to fill up over there. That’s it. Take your passport.

The QR code will take you to the spot. It’s on level two of the building.

Is it true that since the pandemic started, a new rule has been brought in to make it impossible to get a new year of ED visa when the current visa expires, without leaving the country?

Looking at the lack of open borders, and the cost of quarantine both to get back in here and to get anywhere else before that, with the mental health implications of 28 days in isolated quarantine, am I missing something or are they trying to make sure there are no foreign students left in the country after 12 months except those who can afford investment or elite visa. I heard volunteering is the latest trend as a way around this but a senior immigration officer warned me against it because with such a flooding of volunteer applications will come tighter controls and many rejections... thoughts?
