Has anyone had experience calling a Thai mobile from the UK with this happening - when I dialed the number, I got the following message: "Sorry, there is no acknowledgment from your requested number." This was preceded by a message in Thai (which I don't understand).
Does this mean that the mobile phone is turned off? Or bad signal (they are currently in Isaan for Songkran with no wifi so could be expired data but I'm unsure)
Do you also know is both party's are charged and if they do not have credit in Thailand this would also happen?
I am dialing with 006685302 Is this the correct format? I'm missing the 0 before the 8
Also can you confirm if a text I sent would be charged both ways and if they do not have credit would this cause the text not to be received? I know a lot of this depends on service provider which I cannot provide. Only that I sent this via Giffgaff for me on a UK sim within the UK to Thai Sim in Thailand and I was charged.
Thanks for your responses.
