Will you have to show that you are still training in the future in order to extend or entry again?

it is possible if you extend via immigration they ask for course/financial evidence

your visa is good for 5 years, and every time you leave, the counter resets for 180 days. This is because when you are in Thailand for longer than 180 days, you become a tax citizen.Anonymous *************

Anonymous participant I would not do that but some don't want to take a short trip.

sorry, I thought you were asking me, not telling me. That’s ok, I don’t really know why you’d risk that instead of just going to Vietnam for the weekend. Would cost less, and would be a fun trip rather than standing in a line at immigration lol.Andi ***********
Anonymous participant . Yes if you leave before 180 days you return and get a new stamp and unlikely to have questions asked. You can stay one year without leaving via an extension at immigration. Doing that is where immigration can ask for evidence. There is a well known video with an immigration official who confirmed this.
