Where do I start in order to get Thai person to be able to visit Canada. Where do I get the forms and all documents needed?..Is there a checklist or even a good company that can provide this service?
And yes I know we are not going there till the whole covid thing is relaxed but I heard the process can take some time so might as well start the travel visa.
Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
To assist a Thai citizen in applying for a Canadian visa, start by visiting the official VFS Global website for detailed application instructions. Prepare necessary documentation such as proof of financial support, health insurance, a refundable return flight ticket, and reasons for returning to Thailand. It’s also beneficial to consult the embassy for personalized advice and checklists. Consider using visa services like Glory World Visa, which can provide guidance and document handling, as shared by other users.
Gord I brought my girlfriend into Canada last November and I was surprised that it went easy she used someone there in Bangkok they sent me a list of documents for me to send passport, house particulars, letter of responsibility, employment verification they charged 3000b once they set everything up she went for the interview and I think she was approved in 5 days. The process took maybe two months. She had been to Germany twice to visit her sister so she had a history of abiding by previous Visa's which is important. But she got a 6 month visitor visa.
You will be required to show proof that you can support the person. You will have to provide health insurance for the person. They will need a return flight ticket. Purchase a refundable ticket in case they get rejected. Valid reasons why they will return to Thailand. Eg job, family, owning property.
Canada immigration can be very difficult to deal with. No one there has any common sense. I’m speaking from experience. My wife’s mother was denied. She was 65 had all her family except one daughter in Philippines. Owned property. She / we wanted her to come see her newborn granddaughter. She was denied a visa. They felt she wasn’t going to return home. Yet they let in terrorists and refugees by the hundreds of thousands. So good luck. Your friend would be better off taking a boat and claiming refugee status.
