Yes I applied with embassy letter got a under consideration stamp and had to return there Oct 7th and then got a stamp till nov 30th today in Bangkok

Why do many Thai people prefer to have lighter skin?

correct..in Kazakhstan its the same many outside construction people are covered only see there eyes wearing balaclava in +56c heat. They believe being lighter shows you work inside and make a good wage like a boss or banker...darker means outside worker poor
