I Want share experience while doing 30 days tourist visa extention..

First of all we have to get the embassy letter. My case is Colombia.. Once we got the letter then we set appointment to the immigration office at Muang Thong Thani for today 9-11 at 9am. Tourist visa extention counter is at the first building on the 3rd floor.. Today is quite empty.. The immigration staffs who help us were suuuppperr nice and polite. They directed us to fill the paperwork and even submit the paper to the officer. We wait at the waiting room and 5 minute later they called us, we paid the visa fee and informed that we have to back at the office on 25th Sept to get the stamp.. I believe that everyone with complete paperwork will be granted 30 days after 26 sept..

My advice, its better to set appointment now or next week to prevent the stress and crowded on the last minute..

Answer summary

A Colombian expat shares their experience of extending a 30-day tourist visa in Thailand. They detail the process, including obtaining an embassy letter, making an appointment at the Muang Thong Thani immigration office, and the positive interactions with the staff. They advise others to schedule appointments in advance to avoid stress and crowds. An important note from a comment clarifies that the poster received an 'under consideration' stamp instead of an immediate extension, which will be finalized later.

ATTENTION MEMBERS;

this poster had a letter from their embassy and they did NOT get a 30 day tourist visa extension but instead applied for the 30 day embassy request extension, got an under consideration stamp and will go back to get the full extension inked in when this stamp runs out.

Thanx for the update (y)
