Hi All

I arrive from UK on a 60 day toursit visa soon and I wish to extend  for the 30 days extension.  My question is at what point do you extend the visa can you do it any time in the first 60 days you are there or is there a deadline ... Cheers

So you need insurance for a 60 day tourist visa for the TP, but not for an extension for the same tourist visa.

correct. You only need insurance that covers your entry. They don't care when you go to get the 30 day extension

Offices like Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket and Buri Ram allow 45 days prior. Most others allow 30 days prior. There’s no downside to going early as they add the days on to your current stamp.
