I have a holiday booked for 18 days departing on 12th of January till 30th of January. The issue is that I am still waiting for my E Visa as I applied for it quite late.
I am Romanian citizen living in UK that means that I could apply for visa on arrival ( 15 days only ).
My questions are:
1.Can I extend my visa on arrival at the Office of Immigration Bureau in Bangkok without any urgent/medical reason?
2. Do I have to change my return flight before travelling in order to fit into the 15 days visa upon arrival?
Some advice, please? Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, a Romanian citizen living in the UK, is concerned about their upcoming trip to Thailand, specifically regarding their visa situation. They sought clarification on whether they can extend their 15-day visa on arrival, and if they need to adjust their return flight to comply with the visa's duration. Responses indicate that a visa on arrival cannot be extended without a valid reason and that a return flight within the 15 days is likely necessary to avoid complications with airlines and immigration.
>Can I extend my visa on arrival at the Office of Immigration Bureau in Bangkok without any urgent/medical reason?
No, you can not. They are selling a 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19, however I have seen reports of people who entered on a visa on arrival being rejected when they apply.
>Do I have to change my return flight before travelling in order to fit into the 15 days visa upon arrival?
You cannot extend a visa on arrival. You can apply for an extension but it would be denied and you’d be given 7 days to leave.
Without a return flight within the 15 days will probably cause a hiccup with your airline. They may not let you board. You could also fall foul at immigration on arrival if you don’t have an onward ticket.
