Hi Tod,

I am currently on a 30 day extension until April 6th that has been covered until the 31st July amnesty. Do you know if I will be able to get that extended using the family extension for 60 days? Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks advice on whether they can extend their 30-day visa by using a family extension for an additional 60 days, following the 31st July amnesty. Comments suggest visiting the local immigration office for clarification, noting that some offices may not honor such extensions for those who previously utilized the amnesty.

If your original entry was a 30 day visa exempt OR a 60 day tourist visa you go to Muang Thong Thani.

All you can do is take your thai wife and GO to the immigration office that serves where you live and ask. In theory yes, but in practicality some offices are not allowing 30 day visa exempt entries to get any extension once you went on amnesty
