TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend a 30-day visa in Phuket, visit one of the local immigration offices (Phuket Town, Patong Beach, or Blue Tree). You can obtain a one-time 30-day extension by filling out form TM7 and providing necessary documents such as your passport, copies of various pages, a passport photo, and 1,900 baht for the fee. Consider discussing an education visa with your Muay Thai school for a longer stay. Note that some offices may have specific requirements regarding the TM30 form.

You will need :-
A pen (some offices are pedantic about blue Phuket isn’t. blue or black will suffice)
Your passport
Fill out form TM7 (available at the office)
Copy passport data page (signed by you)
Copy of entry stamp (signed by you)
Copy of your visa - either the sticker in your passport or pdf evisa (the former signed by you). * if you had one.
Copy of TM6 departure card (signed by you) *if you were issued one - if you entered by air after July ‘22 you wouldn’t have been given one so leave the space on the form blank.
Passport photo (most offices have facilities on site or nearby)
1,900 baht
Some offices may ask for a TM30, which your hotel or landlord should have filed on your behalf. A printed screenshot of their filing it online will generally suffice as evidence you have one - except if you use the Chiang Mai or Jomtien offices. You have to get the screenshot converted to the paper receipt from a manual TM30 filing. ** Note: Phuket does not require this.
On the back of the TM7 there is no mention of needing a Thai phone number (or email address if you don’t have one) but they want it. Write it next to the bold word NOTICE.
In Phuket you have three choices of the office to use. The main Phuket Town office (approx 40 minutes), Patong Beach office (approx 30 minutes) or Blue Tree water park office (approx 20 minutes).

You go to your nearest immigration office and apply for an extension. But you can only get a 30 day extension one time.
So you need to ask your school about an education visa, or you're going to be doing a couple of trips outside the country to reset your status.
