Is proof of onward travel still required by Immigration when entering with on non-O visa that you intend to extend?
Answer summary
Proof of onward travel may not be required by Thai immigration with a Non-O visa, as this is considered a long-term visa. However, some airlines enforce their own policies and may ask for proof before boarding, regardless of the visa type. Travelers recommend being cautious and potentially obtaining an onward ticket for peace of mind.

Thanks everyone. I think to be safe I'm gonna get an onward ticket in case the airline is picky. I realize Immigration won't need it.
